Fenech and Nelson first locked horns in Las Vegas in 1991 where they slugged out a controversial draw and many observers were adamant that Fenech deserved a victory. Nelson then travelled to Melbourne in 1992 for a rematch at Melbourne's Princess Park which attracted 40,000 people, with Nelson stopping Fenech in the eighth round to hand Fenech his first-ever knockout.

Dubbed the re-match of the century “The Final Round” on Tuesday 24th June, 2008 Vodafone Arena, Melbourne, will be the place to witness either Fenech take revenge or Nelson walk away with the hat-trick.
